A Canandaigua man is facing petit larceny charges in the Ontario County city.
Canandaigua Police arrested Joseph Hobbs following the alleged reported theft that occurred at a South Main Street business. Pursuant to the investigation, it was determined that the 27-year-old allegedly stole two items from the unidentified store.
After his arrest, Hobbs was released on an appearance ticket for Canandaigua City Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
