The investigation into a disturbance at a Dailey Avenue address in the city of Canandaigua resulted in the arrest of a 69-year-old Canandaigua man.
It is alleged that Wayne Bynoe grabbed another person by the arm and squeezed to the extent that it caused bruising. On the night before this incident, Bynoe had also allegedly struck the same victim in the knee with what police described to be a “heavy bottle”, causing an injury. Bynoe was charged with assault and harassment.
After being placed under arrest, Bynoe was brought to the Ontario County Jail and held for arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
