Police have arrested a Canandaigua man on unlawful imprisonment and endangering the welfare of a child charges.
According to an investigation, Canandaigua Police alleged 33-year-old Devin Vazquez had put his hand around a child’s neck and pinned them against a wall at a home on Davidson Avenue. It’s alleged Vazquez struck the child several times causing the victim to suffer injuries to their neck, chest, and arms.
Vasquez was brought to the Ontario County Jail for his arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
