A traffic stop early Tuesday morning on State Route 5 in the town of Canandaigua resulted in the arrest of a Canandaigua man.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Rayfield Williams was arrested for driving while ability impaired by drugs.
Williams was issued UTTs for DWAI, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, aggravated unlicensed operation, and failure to update his address with the DMV.
Williams will appear in Canandaigua Town Court at a future date to answer the charge.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
