A traffic stop in the village of Penn Yan resulted in the driver being ticketed for allegedly driving with a suspended license.
According to Police, Simon Woodard was spotted driving on Elm Street in Penn Yan while having an expired inspection. A traffic stop was initiated and contact was made with the 23-year-old driver. A license check revealed Woodard’s license was suspended in January.
Woodard was ticketed for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and uninspected motor vehicle. Woodard will appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.
