A Butler man was arrested Sunday following an investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office following an assist to EMS on Whiskey Hill Road.
Upon further investigation, Frank Chernega was found to be allegedly involved in violation of a stay-away order of protection. Chernega was arrested on two counts of criminal contempt.
Chernega was brought to Wayne County Jail for arraignment and is scheduled to appear in Butler Town Court at a later date.
