The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Burdett man for two separate incidents.
Chad Simmons was charged with criminal mischief following the investigation into a complaint on County Road 31 in the town of Dix on February 10th. Simmons was also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle after a traffic stop on State Route 14 in the village of Watkins Glen.
Simmons was released on appearance tickets for village of Watkins Glen and Town of Dix courts.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
