A 20-year-old Bronx man was arrested Wednesday by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office on an outstanding bench warrant.
The warrant, issued by Ontario County Court, charges Abou Sangare with grand larceny along with bail jumping. Sangare was allegedly involved in an incident with State Police in Poughkeepsie Tuesday night.
Sangare was brought to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
