A section of Elmira Road in Ithaca is currenlty closed following a personal injury crash Tuesday evening.
Ithaca police say officers, along with the Ithaca Fire Department and Bang’s Ambulance, responded to the 300 block of Elmira Road around 6:19 p.m. for a motor vehicle accident involving injuries.
Authorities shut down a large portion of the roadway as investigators worked at the scene. Motorists are being advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
Police have not released additional details about the crash or the extent of any injuries.
