On Tuesday, Marissa Tomaiuoli, 32, of Bloomfield, was taken into custody following a shoplifting complaint at the Target store on Commons Boulevard in the Town of Victor.
Deputies allege that Tomaiuoli passed all points of sale without rendering payment for merchandise valued at $83.97.
Tomaiuoli was processed and released on an appearance ticket. She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Victor Court at a later date to answer the charge.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
