An 18-year-old from Bloomfield was arrested by Canandaigua Police for driving while intoxicated.
Patrick Stewart was stopped on Lakeshore Drive after he allegedly failed to stop for a stop sign and was observed following another car too closely. Pursuant to the investigation, Canandaigua Police determined Stewart was intoxicated and was subsequently placed under arrest for DWI.
Stewart has since been released on an appearance ticket.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
