A Bath woman has a future date in court after she allegedly injured a police officer and ambulance worker.
Police responded to a home on West Steuben Street just before midnight on July 9th for the report of a woman screaming. An investigation determined Alesha Hunt was at the residence in violation of a full stay-away order of protection. As officers went to place the 31-year-old into custody, Hunt physically resisted and attempted to bite them. During the struggle, a Bath Police Department sergeant suffered an injury to his leg.
As Hunt was being transported to the hospital, she was accused of kicking a member of the ambulance crew on purpose injuring them.
Hunt was charged with two counts of assault, attempted assault, and aggravated family offense, all felonies. She was also charged with criminal contempt, resisting arrest, and obstructing governmental administration, all misdemeanors.
