Bath Trio Accused of Committing Violent Home Invasion

Three people have been arrested for allegedly committing a home invasion burglary in the village of Bath this fall.

44-year-old Jason Russell, 41-year-old Matthew Squires, and 35-year-old Sheila Gay, all of Bath, are accused of breaking into a Geneva Street home on September 22nd, stealing property and injuring people who were inside. The trio were arrested on Superior Court warrants charging them with burglary and gang assault, both felonies, as well as misdemeanor assault and petit larceny.

Following arraignment, all three suspects were sent to Steuben County Jail.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
