Police in Bath say a reported disturbance on Evergreen Street ended with the arrest of a village man.
Officers were called to the address for a fight involving multiple people. When they arrived, they found several individuals actively engaged in an altercation. After investigating, officers determined that 33-year-old David Lauer struck a victim in the face, causing physical injury, and also damaged the victim’s property.
Lauer is charged with assault and criminal mischief.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
