A Bath man has been arrested for allegedly violating a stay-away Order of Protection.
Police responded to the Budget Inn to help Steuben County Department of Social Services and spoke with Adam Webster. Webster was found to be violating the Order when the protected party was allegedly found in his home.
Webster was charged with criminal contempt, aggravated family offense, and tampering with physical evidence, all felonies.
Webster was sent to Steuben County Jail without bail following the arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
