A reported larceny at the Walgreens store in the village of Bath resulted in the arrest of a 69-year-old Bath man on felony burglary charges.
When police arrived on the scene, the suspect, Stanley Mckee, was found behind the store with the items he was alleged to have stolen. It was also determined that Mckee was previously trespassed from the store.
In addition to felony Burglary, Mckee was charged with misdemeanor petit larceny. He was taken to the Steuben County Jail to await arraignment.
Bath Police say Mckee has been arrested on four separate burglary charges and multiple other offenses since the beginning of the year.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
