For the second time in less than a month, a Bath man has been charged with injuring a Steuben County Sheriff’s Deputy.
Brian Rosell, Senior, was arrested for allegedly pointing a BB gun at another person. While the 49-year-old was being placed into custody, he allegedly resisted and injured a deputy while doing so. That deputy was treated at a local medical facility and released. Rosell was charged with felony assault along with misdemeanor charges of criminal possession of a weapon, menacing and resisting arrest.
Back in mid-April, Rosell was charged with felony assault for allegedly injuring a deputy while he was being arrested for stealing property. In that incident, the deputy was also treated at a local hospital for their injuries.
Following his arraignment on his latest charge, Rosell was sent back to Steuben County Jail without bail.
