An Aurelius man was arrested for allegedly driving a U-Haul Van while intoxicated.
The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office initially pulled Steven Soule over for driving the U-Haul without its taillights on. Through an investigation, it was determined that Soule was driving the U-Haul under the influence of alcohol.
He was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 or higher, DWI first offense, and other traffic infractions.
Soule was taken into custody and transported to the Public Safety Building and was subsequently released on Uniform Traffic Tickets.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
