Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a 34-year-old Auburn woman on a bench warrant for felony drug charges.
Deputies say Chelsey Storrs was wanted on a warrant signed by Ontario County Court Judge Reston for third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Storrs was taken into custody on Friday at the Livingston County Jail, where she was already being held on unrelated charges. She was then transported to the Ontario County Jail for pre-arraignment detention.
Storrs is scheduled to return to Ontario County Court at a later date to answer the charge.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
