An Auburn man was arrested Thursday for violating an order of protection while incarcerated at the Cayuga County Jail.
According to the sheriff’s office, Austin Deal was arrested and charged with one felony count of Aggravated Family offense and a misdemeanor count of Criminal Contempt for contacting the protected party of a full stay-away order of protection.
The 35-year-old will answer the charges against him at a later date and time in Sennett Town Court. Deal remains in jail on unrelated charges.
