Police in Seneca Falls report the arrest of an Auburn man on several charges stemming from two arrest warrants and one bench warrant issued out of Seneca Falls Town Court.
John Pisano had a bench warrant issued out of Seneca Falls Town Court for Failure to Appear on charges of obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle charges. The 38-year-old was sent to appear in town court on December 11, 2024 but reportedly failed to do so.
A bench warrant was issued two dates later. Pisano, who was being held at the Seneca County Jail on unrelated charges, was arrested on this bench warrant, and two arrest warrants issued by Seneca Falls Town Court from two separate investigations by the Seneca Falls Police Department.
From those warrants, Pisano was also charged with unlawfully fleeing a police officer and multiple vehicle and traffic offenses stemming from an investigation that started in September of 2024 where it is alleged he fled a uniformed police officer attempting to initiate a traffic stop on a car Pisano was driving. Pisano could not be located and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Seneca Falls Police also report Pisano had a warrant for Grand Larceny following a police investigation into a reported theft of a car that happened in January in Seneca Falls.
In addition to the charges from the two arrest warrants and the bench warrant, Pisano faces an additional charge of bail jumping.
Pisano was being held at the Seneca County Jail to await CAP arraignment on all charges.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
