The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that 28-year-old Adolfo Chamorro of Auburn was arrested Wednesday on an active warrant issued by the Town of Canandaigua Court.
The warrant stemmed from Chamorro’s failure to appear on previous charges, including aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and operating without a license. Those charges originated from a July 3 traffic stop.
Chamorro was arraigned in Ontario County’s Centralized Arraignment Court and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to return to Town of Canandaigua Court at a later date to answer the charges.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
