An Auburn man has been arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing Wednesday in the City of Syracuse.
Police report responding to Oswego Street just before 7:00a for the reported stabbing. Once on scene, they found 31-year-old Devante Crosby with a stab wound in his chest. Despite lifesaving measures, Crosby died.
Police say 29-year-old Tyler Kilmer of Auburn was arrested at the scene shortly later and charged with manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.
No motive for the alleged act has been given at this time.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
