An Auburn man is facing legal problems after allegedly withdrawing over $3,000 from Generations Bank with a check he wrote to himself, even though he didn’t have enough money in the account.
Police say Charles Tuttle, also known as Argus Mela’Occio, was given time to repay the money but never did, leading to an arrest warrant.
Tuttle now faces a felony charge of grand larceny and a misdemeanor charge of issuing a bad check.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
