A Rochester man is facing charges in Wayne County following an investigation into a domestic incident that occurred late last year.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, on December 13th, 34-year-old Robert Homer lived at a residence on Spencer Street in Lyons. On that day, Homer had a friend come over to help him move his ex-wife into the apartment above him. During this time, it is alleged his friend became intoxicated and Homer chose to leave them under the supervision of the intoxicated friend, so he could go to the store. During this time, the intoxicated friend, allowed the underage juvenile to consume alcohol.
Homer was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and issued an appearance ticket.
Charges are pending at this for the others involved.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
