Alleged Hopewell Walmart Larceny Leads to Arrest

The investigation into a larceny complaint at the Hopewell Walmart store on Monday resulted in the arrest of a 25-year-old Canandaigua resident.

Ty-Janey Whitfield is accused of concealing $516.23 worth of merchandise and walking past all points of sale without rendering payment.

Whitfield was charged with petit larceny and was issued an appearance ticket for Hopewell Town Court.
