On Monday, Randall Holman was taken into custody by the Corning Police Department on outstanding warrants stemming from a larceny investigation.
The New York State Police at Painted Post report that the 36-year-old Addison resident was originally accused of stealing multiple items, including an electric bicycle, from an apartment on North Hamilton Street in December. Following the investigation, a warrant was requested through the Town of Erwin Court on March 5, and a bench warrant was subsequently issued after Holman allegedly failed to appear in court regarding the original charges.
State Police took custody of Holman and charged him with Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree and Petit Larceny. He was transported to SP Painted Post for processing and subsequently remanded to the Steuben County Jail for centralized arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
