A motor vehicle accident in the village of Penn Yan resulted in the arrest of a Penn Yan woman.
A check of Heather Mickelsen’s driver’s license revealed that her New York State privileges were suspended for four scoffs on two dates. She was charged with following too closely and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Mickelsen was released to appear in Penn Yan Village Court on a future date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
