A 19-year-old was arrested after State Police were called to Water Street in the town of Lyons to assist a resident with his homeless situation.
Troopers interviewed Jacob Bartosch, who allegedly made threatening statements about committing crimes in the presence of law enforcement. It was revealed that Bartosch had received a ride from his uncle to the Department of Social Services. While in the car, Bartosch allegedly used a multi-tool pocket knife to threaten his uncle, who was driving on State Route 31 at the time.
Bartosch was charged with menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
