The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Canandaigua man on a bench warrant issued out of Hopewell Town Court.
Deputies located Samuel Vazquez at a residence in the city of Canandaigua and took him into custody without incident. The warrant was issued for Vazquez after he allegedly failed to appear before Hopewell Town Court on an aggravated unlicensed operator charge.
Vazquez was brought to the Ontario County Jail to await CAP arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
