A Seneca Falls man has been arrested for allegedly threatening Seneca County employees.
The alleged incident happened on January 17th when Shurik Hendrix made alarming threats of violence against staff, prompting an immediate investigation by police. Despite several attempts to locate and contact the 24-year-old, Hendrix refused to surrender after being notified of his pending arrest. A warrant was then issued for Hendrix’s arrest. He was located Wednesday in Oswego County and turned over by Sheriff’s Deputies to the Seneca Falls Police Department. Hendrix was brought to the Seneca County Jail to await arraignment on unspecified charges.
Orders of Protection were requested on behalf of the threatened employees.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
