The investigation into a domestic incident on Friday at an address on East Main Street in the village of Clifton Springs resulted in the arrest of a 34-year-old Clifton Springs man.
Paul Soltis was charged with menacing and criminal mischief.
Soltis was brought to the Ontario County Jail and was held for arraignment.
