The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of an Ontario woman following an investigation into a traffic stop that occurred in the Town of Williamson.
Deputies arrested Debra J. Thomas-Bradley, 29, of Ridge Road, Ontario for 1 Count of Failure to Keep Right, 1 Count of Driving on the Shoulder, 1 Count of DWI Common Law, 1 Count of DWI .08% BAC or greater, 1 Count of possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, 1 Count of Failure to notify DMV of an address change to driver’s license and 1 Count of Driving while Operating a Mobile Device.
The charges stem from an investigation into a traffic stop in the Town of Williamson where it is alleged that Thomas-Bradley was operating a vehicle eastbound on State Route 104 erratically failing to keep right swerving into the median and shoulder multiple times. Thomas-Bradley was asked to participate in standardized field sobriety testing which she agreed to and failed said standardized field sobriety testing leading to her arrest.
Thomas-Bradley was then transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office where she submitted to a chemical test yielding a .16 % BAC. Thomas-Bradley was then transported to the Wayne County Jail for processing before being released on tickets.
Thomas-Bradley is to appear in the Town of Williamson Court at a later date to answer to the charges.
