Four people were taken to the hospital after the car they were in went off the road and went down an embankment before it rolled over and struck a tree.
The accident happened at around 7:30 Monday night when Jeremiah Ford failed to properly navigate a curve causing him to lose control of his vehicle on Jackson Hill Road in Arcadia. Ford suffered an ankle injury and a passenger, Taylor Ford, injured her back. Two minors in the car suffered injuries to their abdomen and face. All four were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Newark and Marbletown Fire Departments, Lyons WN3, Newark WN36, Fingerlakes A1, Eastern Wayne AM10 and Wayne County Medic 85.
