A traffic stop by State Police in the town of Tyre resulted in the arrest of a Wayne County man on drug charges.
The traffic stop on Black Brook Road eventually led to 25-year-old Wayne Purnell being charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and a single count of criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
Purnell was brought to Seneca County Jail to await arraignment.
