Seneca Falls Police have arrested a 14-year-old boy they believe is responsible for two burglaries that occurred at the same business.
Police responded to the unidentified business last Tuesday night after receiving a report of a burglary alarm activation. Responding officers determined a break-in had occurred and property had also been damaged. Last Wednesday, when officers were conducting a canvas search near the area of the business, officers were advised of another larceny-in-progress occurring at the same business allegedly involving the 14-year-old. Police found the teen and detained him. An investigation determined the unidentified 14-year-old was responsible for both break-ins.
The teen was charged with felony burglary and misdemeanor criminal mischief and was released on an appearance ticket to appear before the Seneca County Probation Department.
