Dundee/Penn Yan: Virginia Ann Miles, age 79, formerly of Spring St. IRA in Dundee, NY, died Thursday, June 21, 2012, at The Homestead in Penn Yan, N.Y. There are no prior calling hours. Graveside services will be held privately on August 6, 2012, in St. Mary's Cemetery, Skaneateles, NY.

Virginia was born March 25, 1933, in Skaneateles, NY, the daughter of the late Lester and Margaret Gaynor Miles. She had lived locally since 1999, previously of Willard, NY.

She is survived by 3 sisters: Mary Judson of Pisgah Forest, NC; Ellen Phillips; and Betty Traver, both of Auburn, NY; numerous nieces and nephews; and a dear friend and loving caregiver, Judi Labbadia, and many more caregivers and friends in the A.R.C. System.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by 2 sisters: Jeralyn Miles and Martha Simkulet, and two brothers, Gene and Richard Miles.
