Una M. Mann

Savannah: Age 98, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2013, at the Newark Wayne Community Hospital.

Una was born in Millinocket, Maine, on May 25, 1915, daughter of William and Jennie Ross. She was married to Ralph W. Mann Sr. on April 30, 1935. He preceded her in death on April 27, 1966.

Una was employed by New York State for 20 years at the Newark Developmental Center. She also worked at the Good Shepherd Home of Savannah as a cook until she was 80 years of age. She enjoyed her family, friends, pets, cooking, and her home.

She is survived by her children Harold Buddy Mann and Claudia DiSanto, both of Clyde; Ralph W. (Cathy) Mann Jr. and Jere (Carol) Mann, both of Savannah; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by son-in-law Matty DiSanto.

Una was an anatomical donor to the University of Rochester School of Medicine. At her request, there will be no services.
