Dundee: Theresa R. Johnson, age 47, of Dundee, NY, died Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, N.Y., after an eight-year battle with cancer. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 7) at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee, where a memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Lucinda O'Leary officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Dundee, at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dundee Fire Company Emergency Squad, 12 Union St., Dundee, NY 14837.

Theresa was born September 4, 1965, in Batavia, NY, the daughter of Melvin R. and Sandy M. Berger Johnson. She graduated from Dundee Central School in 1983 and attended Corning Community College. A lifelong area resident, Theresa was a self-employed caregiver, providing care to individuals in Schuyler County in her own home. Theresa enjoyed her family, fishing, and trips to the casino.

She is loved and will be dearly missed by her son, Nicholous David (Toshua Harrison) Johnson, and three grandchildren, Trinity, Alexis, and Ryan, all with whom she made her home in Dundee; her mother, Sandy Pixley of Dundee; her boyfriend, Dennis Johnson of Hornby; two brothers, Melvin Johnson and Cheyenne Johnson; maternal grandmother, Gertrude Berger; several nieces and nephews; and countless aunts, uncles, and cousins.
