Tatyana A. Bliss

Canandaigua – Tatyana A. Bliss, age 63, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, July 5, 2026.

She is survived by her son, Andrew Bliss (Lyric Dewey); former husband, David L. Bliss, Jr.; brother, Vladimir A. Verevkin; and two nieces.

Tatyana was born in the small Ukrainian city of Konotop and was the daughter of Alexander and Sophia Verevkin. She was a voracious reader and excellent student, who qualified to attend the prestigious University of Moscow School of Foreign Languages, focusing on the French Language. After completing her degree and becoming a French Russian interpreter, Tatyana travelled extensively and had a successful modeling career. She later worked in the travel industry and was a Travel Advisor for several Moscow, Russia companies. Tatyana moved to the United States in 1977. She worked in retail management until the birth of her son, Andrew, then became a stay-at-home mom. Tatyana enjoyed knitting, music, poetry, and keeping a journal.
