Suzanne J. Kriegar

Suzanne J. Kriegar, (née Cheasman) age 60, of Bellona, NY, departed this life on June 19, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at Rochester General Hospital.

Born on June 6, 1966, in Penn Yan, Suzi was a compassionate soul dedicated to helping others. Having earned her Master's degree in Psychology, Suzi has worked at Soldiers & Sailors Hospital, the John D. Kelly behavioral health clinic, and finally Catholic Charities as a Care Worker. She will be remembered for offering a compassionate hand to anyone that crossed her path, whether it was a meal from her fridge, a place to sleep, or an open ear free from judgment.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Betty Jean (Lafler) Hobart, and her grandparents Harold and Arlene (Harris) Lafler. Suzi is survived by her four loving children, Stephen Kriegar of Penn Yan, Kaylee Kriegar and Alexander Warren of Bellona, Kaitlyn and Phil Rossi of Penn Yan, and Jenny Kriegar of Penn Yan; husband Ricky Kriegar; and loving life partner Kevin Cotton. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Adeline, Nora, Colton, and Harper, along with her two devoted pets, her dog Pig and cat Stink.

Her four siblings, Richard (Darci) Cheasman of Naples, Trevor (Amoureen) Hobart of Penn Yan, Cathy Cheasman of Naples, and Jamie (James) Adams of Penn Yan. Her loving spirit will always be remembered and missed.
