Sharon L. (Waldron) Jackson
Sharon was born on April 5th, 1954, in Waterloo, NY. She left on her last trip on October 9th, 2024, at the age of 70. Sharon passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side after a short battle with cancer. She lived in Savannah her entire life. Sharon graduated from Clyde-Savannah Central School in 1972, then attended CCC and received an accounting degree. Sharon worked for Savannah Bank NA for 14 years. When she married her husband Trevor, she became the bookkeeper for Jackson Farms, Inc. She always enjoyed the farming challenge and keeping up with Trevor. For many years, they traveled to many Caribbean Islands, South and Central America, and throughout the United States. She and Trevor enjoyed their winter escape in New Orleans for many years.
Sharon loved sewing, camping, snowmobiling, traveling, and boating (especially on Tater Toy) and mowing the lawn.

Sharon is survived by a loving son, Lucas Lopez of Hamilton, NJ; stepchildren: Amber Higgins of Wolcott, Tiffiny (William) Cahoon of Wolcott, and Tori (Seth) Duell of Williamson; and the most adorable step-grandchildren anyone could ever have: Aeryn and Ellie Higgins, Calvin and Mabel Cahoon, Greyson and Emma Duell. Sharon is also survived by her brothers: Larry (Theresa) Waldron of Clyde, Leon (Dawn) Waldron of Savannah, David (Dawn) Waldron of Port Byron; a sister, Nancy Stowell of Savannah; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many good friends.
Sharon leaves behind her grandfur baby, DRAGO. “I love you, take care of Lucas for me.”

Sharon is predeceased by her husband, Trevor Jackson, in 2017; by her parents, Emmett and Shirley Waldron; and her sister, Lynn Black Albario.
Friends may call Thursday, October 17, from 1 PM to 4 PM at the Norton Funeral Home, 13081 West Church Street. A funeral service will follow. Burial will follow the service in the Crusoe Cemetery.
