Scott A. Bonacci
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Scott “Scottie” A. Bonacci on May 20, 2026.
Scottie was born December 31, 1961, in Waterloo, NY, the son of the late Joseph F. (Grinder) Bonacci and Linda (Stein) Lyons. He was a graduate of Waterloo High School and went on to work for the NYS Transportation Department.
Scottie was a devoted husband of 40 years, brother, uncle, and friend. He was loved by so many; his presence made every room brighter and enjoyable.
Known for his generous heart, Scottie would give you the shirt off his back without a second thought. He always showed up for others, offering support, laughter, and friendship in ways that will never be forgotten.
Scottie had a deep passion for racing, sports of all kinds, and many one-liners – “Get’em Up, Buddyman Buddywoman, just one more and I gotta go”… the list is endless. He cherished his Kamp Krow family, where he created lasting memories and friendships that meant so much to him.
Above all, Scottie loved his family and friends. They were the center of his world, and he took great pride in the relationships he built and nurtured throughout his life.
Scottie leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and love that will live on in everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Scottie is survived by the love of his life, wife Lori (Zukowski) Bonacci; loving dog Lily Beans (love muffin); sisters Michele Bonacci, Kimmie (Helpard) Robinson; brother Patrick Lyons (Angel); and many nieces (great nieces) and nephews (great nephews).
