Scott David Marion

November 23, 1973 – June 22, 2026

Scott David Marion, 52, of Sodus, New York, passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2026. Born on November 23, 1973, in Sodus, New York, Scott lived a life defined by hard work, generosity, humor, and devotion to those he loved. He was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer support when it was needed most. His generous heart, strong work ethic, and good-natured sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Scott was a dedicated employee of Walmart, where he worked for more than 19 years. He took pride in his work and earned the respect of both coworkers and customers through his reliability, dedication, and willingness to help others.

As a child, Scott enjoyed playing T-ball, participating in Cub Scouts, and spending time with his friends. Throughout his life, he maintained an adventurous spirit and a love of excitement. In his younger years, he was known for enjoying fast cars and fast driving, always embracing life with enthusiasm and energy.

Scott was famously strong-willed. Once he made up his mind about something, there was little anyone could do to change it. Yet beneath that determination was a kind and caring man whose loyalty to family and friends never wavered.

Family meant everything to Scott. He was a devoted son who called his mother every single day, despite the miles separating them while she lived in California. He also lovingly cared for members of his family, including his Uncle Bill, always stepping up when help was needed. Scott lived with his cousin, Cari Anne, and their beloved dog, Taz, and treasured the comfort, companionship, and love they shared. Whether sharing stories, offering assistance, or simply being present, Scott cherished the time he spent with those he loved.

Scott also believed in giving back to his community. He volunteered for breast cancer awareness walks and helped raise money to support animal causes, reflecting his compassion for both people and animals.

He is survived by his beloved mother, Elaine Marion; his sister, Faith (Ricardo) Reyes; his niece, Mia; his nephews, Andres (and his girlfriend Natalie), Ricky, and Angel; Uncle Bill; his cousin, Cari Anne; and many extended family members, friends, coworkers, and loved ones who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, David; his grandmother, Lucille; and his grandfather, Vincent.

Scott's life was filled with laughter, stories, and memorable moments. There was never a dull moment when he was around. His kindness, humor, determination, and willingness to help others will be remembered always.

Though his passing leaves a tremendous void, those who knew and loved Scott will carry his memory forward in the countless lives he touched through his generosity, friendship, and unwavering devotion to family.

There will be no services held. The family invites those who knew and loved him to remember Scott in their own way and celebrate the memories and moments shared with him.
