Sadie Janette Newland

It is with profound love and deep sadness that we announce the arrival and passing of Sadie Janette Newland on June 21, 2026, at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center. Though the time was brief, Sadie touched our hearts and filled our lives with immeasurable love.

Sadie is survived by her parents, Levi and Cassandra (Tomlinson) Newland, of Locke; her siblings Leona Rae, Amos, and Ella Mae; grandparents: Rick & Faye Newland, Leonard Tomlinson, Shannon & Mike Swayze, and Marj Newland; great-grandparents, Donna & Raymond Smith and Elsie & Wally Newland; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family that loved her before she was even born. Sadie is now our angel watching over us, and she will always be in our hearts.

The Newland Family appreciates the many kindnesses and expressions of support during these difficult days and will honor Sadie privately.
