Ruth C. Washburn

Savannah, NY December 1, 1935 – November 11, 2015 Age 79

Savannah: Ruth passed away peacefully at home on November 11, 2015, with her loving family surrounding her.

Ruth is survived by her son, Thomas Washburn; her daughter, Susan Ruth; her grandchildren, Christopher Jon Odit, Adam (Nicole) Erb, Ashley Erb; her great-grandchildren, Jakob Clayton-Timothy, Jade Elizabeth, Ava Ashley, Elijah Robert, and Jonah Vincent; two special children of the heart, Nancy Odit and Robert Erb Jr.; and several nieces. She also leaves behind many spiritual brothers and sisters from the Waterloo Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Ruth is predeceased by her son, Timothy Jon Washburn.

Ruth was a devoted mother and friend. She was very committed to her family and loved the moments she shared with them. Ruth will be missed by many, but her memory will live on through the lives she touched.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 16, 2015, from 1 to 2:45 PM at Norton Funeral Home, 13081 West Church Street, Savannah, NY 13146. Burial will be at North Rose Cemetery immediately following calling hours. A memorial service will be announced at a later date at the Kingdom Hall in Waterloo, NY.
