Russell Malkowski passed away peacefully on September 25, 2024, at DeMay Living Center, Newark.

Russ was born on August 25, 1944, to Bernard and Grace Malkowski. He married Sally Jean (McKee) Goodbody on December 20, 1981. Together he and Sally took great pride in running and managing Sal's Music and Ice Cream in Newark for close to 40 years. They enjoyed traveling by train to California, Florida, and NYC, making friends along the way and leaving Russ with countless stories to share.

Russ is survived by Sally's five children: Elizabeth, William, Natalie, Stephanie, and Stephen, and their families; brother-in-law Gary (Sally); sisters-in-law Dale, Betsy, Ethel, Susan (Ken), and Jill (Scott).

Russ was predeceased by Sally, his wife of 42 years; his sisters-in-law Nancy Benedict and Judy McKee; parents-in-law Betty and Samuel McKee; and parents Bernard and Grace.
