Robert T. Stott

Robert T. Stott, 82, of Auburn, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 21, 2026. Bob dedicated 33 years of service to the Auburn Enlarged City School District, where he was respected by colleagues and appreciated by those whose lives he affected. Bob enjoyed a variety of hobbies throughout his life, including woodworking, painting, gardening, and spending countless hours caring for his yard. He especially cherished the many trips he shared with his family to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where countless memories were made over the years.

Above all, Bob valued time spent with his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Shirley (Thompson) Stott; his daughters, Kimberly Carnicelli and Kristine Fallat (Lou); his cherished grandchildren, Bryant Carnicelli (Cara), Brittney Carnicelli, Danielle Ruhl, Kaylee Miles (Ross), Sydney Fallat, and Luke Fallat; his sister, Olive Bergerstock; his beloved great-grandchildren; and his faithful companion, Benji. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Marjorie and Thomas Stott, and by his sisters, Ann Stevens and Irene Delanoy, and his beloved pet, Thomas.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Pettigrass Funeral Home. A private funeral service for the immediate family will follow. Bob will be remembered for his kindness, dedication to his family, and the joy he found in life's simple pleasures. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
