GENEVA – Robert “Bob” W. Fischer, age 87, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Geneva General Hospital surrounded by family.

Bob was born in Geneva, NY, on May 9, 1939. He was the son of the late William and Helen Fischer. Bob worked 41 years at International Paper Company, and during that time he enjoyed building a home for his family. After his retirement from IPC, Bob enjoyed many years working at Friendly Ford, making friends that became family to him. He enjoyed boating, being a member of the 4 Wheel Drive Club, the Corvette Club, cross country skiing, and his annual trips to Cape Cod.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Nancee (Tracy); his sons, William (Shelly) and Timothy (Darolyn); grandchildren, Will (Lyndsey), Melissa (Jason), Marie (Alex), Addie (Hannah), Audriannah (Jared), and Braeden; great-grandchildren, Levi, Leo, and Lexi; nieces, Sandy (Rick) and Annie (James); nephew, Bobby (Darrell); former wife and lifelong friend, Jeanne Raymer; and special friends, Larry & Caryl Pitzeruse.

Bob was predeceased by his parents, William and Helen Fischer; his sister, Serena McConnell; and his grandson, Adrian.

Following Bob’s wishes, there will be no services.
