Richard Lee Rzepka

East Bloomfield, NY April 28, 1950 – February 21, 2026 Age 75

East Bloomfield - Richard Lee Rzepka, age 75, went home to meet his Savior on February 21, 2026, peacefully surrounded by his family.

Born on April 28, 1950, in Darien, NY, to Alexander and Mildred (Boloski) Rzepka, Richard was an extremely hard worker who developed a strong work ethic at an early age. He began his career in the restaurant business on Marco Island, FL, and later transitioned into sales. His career included work at the World Trade Center in New York City, as well as many successful years with Stanley Bostitch. He ultimately retired as an independent sales representative. Richard was a dedicated and accomplished businessman.

An avid outdoorsman, Richard found great joy in fishing, hunting, hiking, and exploring the beauty of nature. He learned to hunt and fish at a very young age and carried that passion with him throughout his life. Above all, Richard cherished his role as a father to his two sons, Damien and Aaron, and was a devoted “Poppy” to his seven grandchildren. His ability to light up a room with his love and laughter brought his family together and will be deeply missed. His strong faith and belief in Jesus as his Savior carried him through life’s most difficult trials.

Richard is survived by two sons, Damien (Erica) Rzepka and Aaron (Carrie) Rzepka; his beloved grandchildren, Riley, Raegan, Solia, Isla, Liv, Aspen, and Rowan; nephew, Darren; and several special nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Marie, Norman, Patricia, Mary-Ellen, and Jack.

Family and friends are invited to join in remembering and honoring Richard at a memorial service on Saturday, March 14, at 10:00 a.m. at Webster Bible Church, 675 Holt Road, Webster, NY 14580. Private interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Bennington, NY. Arrangements are by Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., Bloomfield. Condolences may be offered at www.johnsonkennedy.com.
